Michael Cooper
Cornerstone Worship & Youth Worship Leader
Michael has served on our staff as our Cornerstone Worship Leader since the beginning of 2019. Starting this fall he will be providing leadership as our Youth Worship Leader, which includes both leading worship at our Crossroads worship service and teaching our youth praise team. He also works as a 6th grade math interventionist teacher at J.O. Kelly Middle School in Springdale. Michael is passionate about building relationships with youth and helping them to use their gifts to glorify God.
Husband to Tami and father to Jaci (13) and Evvi (11), Michael enjoys playing music and playing basketball with his daughters. Michael’s expanded role as Youth Worship Leader has already begun, and he is already working on a weekly basis with our youth praise team and the Crossroads worship service.
Michael’s favorite Bible verse is 2 Corinthians 12:9 – “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
