MISSION
To connect children and families to God and one another.
GATHER
Children will be involved in both large and small group experiences where a loving and affirming Christian community will be modeled and practiced. Through this involvement, children will learn how to live a Christian life at home, school, and community.
GROW
Children will experience the scriptures in fun, innovative ways through a variety of hands-on worship and educational activities. Through these developmentally appropriate experiences, children will embrace Jesus and grow in a relationship with Him.
GO
Using their unique gifts and interests, children will be given opportunities to actively share their faith with others in their church, community and world. Through these opportunities, children will experience a deepening faith that is relevant and life-changing.
SAFE GATHERINGS
Because we care about the safety of our children here at First Church, we are a Safe Gatherings congregation. This means that all paid and volunteer caregivers for children and youth have undergone a screening process and adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines and child protection policies. Detailed copies of our Safe Gatherings policy are available upon request from the Children’s Ministry department.

ELEMENTARY | K TO - 5TH GRADE
Check-in inside the portico lobby at the First Children welcome desk.
After check-in, we welcome the children into their Sunday School classrooms, where they embark on a journey of fellowship and fun. We then gather for a big group time filled with games, worship, and the exciting Bible story of the day. Then, we break back into our Sunday School classrooms with our amazing Sunday School volunteers to go further into our Bible story at an age-appropriate level.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIVE
Wednesday Nights (Wednesday nights will resume in the fall)
Wednesday Night Live from 6:30-7:30 will resume in the fall! Dinner is from 5:30-6:30 in the Family Life Center for families, and check-in will begin at 6:15 in the Oasis. After check-in, your child will have an engaging lesson as we play games, worship, and dive deeper into learning more about our Bibles!
