Welcome to First Children (Grades K-5th)

First Children exists to connect children and families to God and one another. Children will be involved in both large and small group experiences where a loving and affirming Christian community will be modeled and practiced. Through this involvement, children will learn how to live a Christian life at home, school, and community. Children will experience the scriptures in fun, innovative ways through a variety of hands-on worship and educational activities. Through these developmentally appropriate experiences, children will embrace Jesus and grow in a relationship with Him. Using their unique gifts and interests, children will be given opportunities to actively share their faith with others in their church, community and world. Through these opportunities, children will experience a deepening faith that is relevant and life-changing.

Weekly Programming

Sunday School, 9:30-10:45 AM

After getting checked in, children go to their Sunday School classrooms and have an activity. Then, everyone gathers in the Oasis (children's area) for a big group time filled with games, worship, and the exciting Bible story of the day. Then, they break back into our Sunday School classrooms to go further into the Bible story at an age-appropriate level.

Wednesday Nights, 5:30-7:00 PM

Children eat with their families from 5:30-6:00pm. At 6:30pm, they gather for our music time and meet in the Oasis (Children's Area) for worship, lesson time, and games.
