Rhett is a Southwest Arkansas native who moved into the area in 2023. Following high school, he served in the Marine Corps Reserve and graduated from Southern Arkansas University in 2020 with a bachelor's in Mass Media. He has three years of experience in journalism and communications.

Rhett lives in Fayetteville with his wife, Rachael, and their cat, Laverna. In his free time, he enjoys reading, writing, and playing the guitar.
