Plan Your Visit
Ash Wednesday begins the Lenten season. Lent is the 40-day period of preparation that leads to Easter. As we receive ashes on our foreheads, we are reminded of our mortality and our need for a Savior. Introduce your family and friends to this rich church tradition. Many are just waiting to be invited!

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week, during which we remember the last week of the life of Jesus. On the day, Jesus came to Jerusalem as King. He rode on a donkey, and the people shouted Hosanna! as they laid their palm branches on the road for him. We will celebrate this day with a procession of palms waved by the children. Join us for this joyous, traditional service.

MAUNDY THURSDAY (Living Last Supper)
Maundy Thursday is the Thursday before Easter. This was the day Jesus washed the feet of the disciples, held the last supper, and when Judas betrayed Jesus. Maundy is derived from the Latin word for "command" and refers to Jesus' commandment to the disciples to "Love one another as I have loved you." We celebrate this day with a reenactment of the Last Supper. This is wonderful First Church tradition. We hope you will come and invite someone to come along with you.
MARCH 28 | 6:00 p.m. Sanctuary

Good Friday is when we remember Jesus' crucifixion on the cross so that we may have eternal life in Heaven with Him.
MARCH 29 | 6:00 p.m. Sanctuary

Easter Sunday, we celebrate our Risen King and rise with Him to new life at one of our three Easter Sunday worship services. Invite your friends. Invite your co-workers. Bring your family. Invite everyone to join in celebrating and proclaiming He Is Risen!
